Yes, you can wear your hair in a ponytail, but care must be taken to make sure the tape-in bonds on extensions are concealed under the natural hair. Also, it’s good to have your hair in a loose braid while sleeping. It will prevent tangling during the night. These hair extensions can even hold the hairstyle better than natural hair, so you will protect your hair and wake up with beautiful waves at the same time. You can use conditioner on the mid-lengths to ends of your hair but not anywhere near or on the Tape-In bonds on the extension.

Can I go swimming and do activities with my Tape-In Extensions?

Yes, you can swim and do activities with your Tape-In Extensions. We suggest wearing it in a loose braid and brushing with a wet brush and leave-in conditioner through the mid-lengths and ends every time you get out of the water. Submersion in salt water should be avoided as it will deteriorate the tape-in bonds on the hair extensions and cause the extensions to slip out. We suggest wearing a top bun and not getting your hair in the water at all.

Do these hair extensions require specific maintenance?

Yes, another great thing about tape-in extensions is that they are reusable. To make it possible to reuse them, it is important to take proper care and follow the maintenance guidelines for your extensions. As your hair grows, the extensions move down with your natural hair, which can cause hair tangling and matting if left unattended.
