Fusion Hair Extensions

WHAT ARE fusion Hair EXTENSIONS?

Fusion hair extensions are often called pre-bonded or bonding hair extensions. This is a hair extension method where pre-tipped hair extensions are fused to individual strands of your natural hair using  keratin (a protein that is naturally found in hair).

Frequently Asked Questions about this method

Why Fusion Extensions?

You can get a partial set of fusion extensions to add thickness and volume or you can get a full set to add length as well as volume and thickness.

Do you use human hair?

Yes we only use the best quality 100% Cuticle Intact Remy Human Hair.

Who is a candidate for Fusion Hair Extensions?

If you have thicker hair, shorter hair, or issues with short layering, then fusion extensions might be better for you than Tape-in or Hand-Tied. The best way to find out if fusion is the best method for you is by booking a FREE consultation.

How much is the investment to experience Fusion Extensions?

Most first time clients can expect to invest $250 to $1,500 depending on what your desired look is as well as how long/thick your natural hair is currently. Schedule your FREE consultation to get a personalized quote!

Can I put my hair up in a ponytail while wearing Fusion Extensions?

Yes, you can wear your hair in a ponytail once the extensions have settled, usually about a week or two. Care must be taken to make sure the bonds are concealed under the natural hair.

Can I use conditioner on my Fusion Extensions?

You can use conditioner on the mid-lengths to ends of your hair but not anywhere near or on the bonds.

Can I go swimming and do activities with my Fusion Extensions?

Yes, you can swim and do activities with your Fusion Extensions. We suggest wearing it in a loose braid and brushing with a wet brush and leave-in conditioner through the mid-lengths and ends every time you get out of the water. Submersion in salt water is to be avoided as it will deteriorate the bonds and cause the extensions to slip out. We suggest wearing in a top bun and not getting your hair in the water at all.

How often do I have to get new hair?

You will need to get new hair every 3-6 months. When you’re ready for a new set, we will take all of them out and install a completely new set of hair.

How often do they have to be maintained?

They need to be maintained every 3-6 months. This depends on the growth of your natural hair as well as the care taken with at home maintenance.
